The Next Best Thing, Yet to Come, It’s The Next Biggest in Social Media!

For the past 3 years while finishing up my study at OSU; I was also busy working on setting up my start-up Kapenda Media Group, and developing some small but really cool web tools such as; RentersQ (www.rentersq.com), Wrisen (www.wrisen.com), the newly finished Ticked.me (www.ticked.me), the soon to be launched Laatie (www.laatie.com), Welated (www.welated.com), and more.

I’m not going to create any more new web tools, instead, I will now focus on growing them. But the whole deal behind developing these tools was, to gain more traction with social media. Because, I have a project that I came up with in 2004, has been under my desk for all this time, but when it is done and launched, it will be bigger than the much-anticipated Google Wave, bigger than YouTube, and bigger than Twitter (yes, I’m not kidding). It’s the next Skype of social media, and Skype currently has over 500 million users worldwide.

It’s the kind of the web tool that will change the way you and your family watch web videos and play music online. And I have a great and talented team of developers in Russia working on this project.

So, be prepared to have more fun and the best experience in social media. Look out for this new platform. It’s going to be the Biggest and the Best Thing in Social Entertainment Media. It will be ready for private beta use by mid 2010.

Now, please go check out my new tool, Ticked.me at http://ticked.me and please let me know what you think about it. And yes, now that you ask, I need funding for this project. So, contact me.

Men Tick Me Off, OMG… on Ticked.me

“Men tick me off, OMG!” Certainly some, if not all the women out there, have said that to themselves or their friends.

Ticked.meA new microblogging site Ticked.me (www.ticked.me) is launching this month, which lets users express and share their flurries on almost everything about men or women that drive them crazy.

Similar sites such as VentNation lets users vent on the things, almost everything, that bother them. You can say that even Twitter, Yammer, etc., also let users express themselves in the same way, except these sites tend to focus more on the general stuff, other than on a specific issue, and because of so many categories, these sites tend to bury a lot of the users posted updates.

However, Ticked.me exclusively lets users to chant about their inner thoughts on the things about men or women that make them just want to scream or pull their hair off.

Historically, similar sites have not been able to gain much traction, but with the current wave of social network tools, there might be a space for these kinds of web sites.

Only time will tell how Ticked.me or other similar sites may turn out. But it is suffice to say that it’s fun to read what or how women (or men) feel about each other, in general. After all, it may help someone else learn more on how to deal with his or her personal relationship.

Disclaimer: I’m the founder of Ticked.me.

Welated, a Social App for Social Networks

Welated for iPhonesIn July, I launched Wrisen, a social app for social networks on Facebook, which has so far received great, rave review, and it’s growing faster than I’ve expected.

We’re currently working to launch a full version of the Welated site at the end of August, but the exciting news is about our new social app version of Welated for social networks and iPhone which we are also launching towards the end of August.

We will first launch the Welated app for social networks, specifically for Facebook, and then follow up with the iPhone version.

Welated is a service that alerts users instantly any time their mates cheat on them with anyone, anyplace, anywhere.

Check out Wrisen at http://www.wrisen.com and Welated at http://www.welated.com.

wrisen logoThis coming Saturday, I am launching Wrisen (www.wrisen.com), a social app for social networks that lets you create, share, and browse profiles for all your deceased loved ones, family members, relatives, spouses, friends, acquaintances, cohorts, pets, or anyone else you adore and or admire.

Wrisen will initially be available for Facebook, and the iPhone, iPod Touch, and T-Mobile G3 versions will follow shortly.

At the same time, within the next few weeks, I am going to unveil the all new Welated (www.welated.com), a social utility that alerts you instantly any time your mate cheats on you with anyone, anywhere, anyplace.

I’m excited about these two projects, and I thank my developers around the world for working tirelessly in making these projects the best yet.

I am also looking forward to unveil the all newly redesigned Tipmart, Jetie.org and Zemuse.com towards the end of the year (2009), and that will complete my innovative properties for the moment.
