Germany leader Merkel has gone from being a hero to what? See Yahoo! News.
The same thing with the Eurozone that has decremented Merkel could happen to Obama as well. A good leader with great ideas could turn sour as soon as he/she surrounds himself/herself with bad advisors and start listening to their ill-gotten ideas instead of following his/her own intuitions that has made her or him a great leader in the first place.
Such as Obama’s handling of the BP oil gushing in the Gulf of Mexico. This could be his fall out, with the recent approval poll of his handling of the BP Oil Spill Crisis at below 36%. Obama could have ordered BP to seal the well instead of trying to fix the broken oil pipe right a few days after it gushed open.
It’s been 5 weeks, with more than 70,000 gallons of oil per day gushing in to the ocean. President Obama could have ordered BP to seal the well instead of trying to fix the pipe. Yes, it’s more than 5,000 feet below the ocean, but a “5,000 pound of bomb could have completely destroyed and sealed the well and that would have stopped the leak, and if that didn’t work, use a nuclear bomb” (Scientist Robbie Jena, JKGG).
BP is not out to seal the well, they are out to fix the busted pipe so they could continue to use the well for oil extraction in the future. But at the mean time, thousands of gallons of oil are pouring into the ocean daily, destroying the environment in the process. And where is the EPA? Sleeping on the wheel. Isn’t this similar to FEMA for handling the Hurricane Katrina?
Merkel is and has been doing the same thing; she has fallen asleep on the wheel. Instead of meeting the Eurozone crisis head on, she was listening to ill-gotten advises, to wait and see if the system fixes itself. She could have been from the very start pushing for clear-cut tactical measures to fix Greece, instead of trying to keep the inside of her house clean, while the outside is swimming in mud. If the dirt start piling up outside of the house, soon or later it will burst inside.
