A Sick Politics, Fox News Not Covering Senator Ted Kennedy’s Death

All the TV news networks in the US such as CNN and MSNBC, including local news sources and online news media have been non-stop reporting and covering the death of Senator Ted Kennedy, since the news broke out of his passing, except Fox News Network, which only touches bit-size-pieces reporting on his death.

Senator Kennedy was a democrat, and Fox News generally favors reporting on Conservative related news and events, and thus probably it feels unobligated on deep covering of the death of Senator Ted Kennedy, who was not just a symbol of the success of the American politics and the spear of social injustice, but a great American.

Instead, Fox News is focusing on Obama seeking help from the Godfather for his health-care reform?

Sometimes, we just need to put politics aside and come together not as Liberals and Conservatives, but as Americans, just as we did on 9/11.

Please eulogize and evangelize Senator Ted Kennedy, the lion of democracy and the spear of social injustice at his Wrisen Profile on Facebook.

  1. What a twit.

Are you even watching the coverage? FOX is nearly wall to wall with long Teddy pieces, highlighted by eulogy clips from Dodd, Biden, etc.

In between they are squeezing short pieces of other news – you know, their job.

More than 80% isn’t enough for you? Was 5 days of wall to wall Michael Jackson coverage by CNN the product of a professional news organization?

Or does your knee-jerk toward FOX reveal more about your bias than theirs?

  2. It’s hard for me to say anything nice about that drunken, philandering, lying sot. All I can think about is all the damage he did to this country during his long Senate stint, and how he destroyed the careers of men like Robert Bork with his disgusting speeches. How he stood in the way of green power sources like the proposed wind farm off the coast of his estate. I won’t even get started on Mary Jo Kopechne.

Fox News is under no obligation to wax nostalgic about Kennedy. They reported his death, end of story. The trouble with you left-wingers is that you’re so used to seeing everything tilted to the left….that when something is actually straight up-and-down, it looks like it’s leaning to the right. It’s like you’re all walking around on floors that aren’t level and looking at crooked picture frames.

  3. US Senator Ted Kennedy, a lion of the American left and the last of the brothers who dominated US politics for years, has died of brain cancer, his family said. He was 77.

Edward M Kennedy was a towering, controversial figure whose death late on Tuesday night at his home in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, ended an era when his family appeared born to rule.

“We’ve lost the irreplaceable center of our family and joyous light in our lives, but the inspiration of his faith, optimism, and perseverance will live on in our hearts forever,” his family said in a statement.

”We thank everyone who gave him care and support over this last year, and everyone who stood with him for so many years in his tireless march for progress toward justice, fairness and opportunity for all.

”He loved this country and devoted his life to serving it.”

The ”liberal lion” of the Senate was the youngest of the Kennedy brothers.

President John F Kennedy was assassinated in 1963.

Senator Robert Kennedy was shot dead as he campaigned for the 1968 Democratic presidential nomination.

Joe Kennedy, a pilot, died in World War II.
